Starter Prayer: Gracious God, grow my awareness of your constant movements in my life. Teach me new ways of living as one connected to you and all that is good. Amen.

Focus Word: Ripple Effect

Hannah Garrity’s piece “Prevenient” is about the expansive effect of God’s grace. (Don’t ask me what “prevenient” means; I’m not sure, and I’m too lazy to look it up.)

In the image, the sky and distance appear separated from the present; but the water ripple in the foreground represents the ripple effect of God’s grace, which, in time, unifies all things for good.

Imagine! The events of your life today are a part of your whole faith story– past, present and future. It is your union with the Spirit of Christ that connects you to all things Good. 

Nothing can stop the ripple effect of God’s love.
