Weekend Series: Hope With Us

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. –Hebrews 6:19
Everything that is done in the world is done by hope. –Martin Luther King, Jr.
Too often we mistake hope for wishful thinking, ignoring the difficulties of our lives and dismissing our trauma. This understanding of hope is powerless, dangerous and false. But the science of hope tells us that true hope is the single most powerful contributing character strength in our wellbeing and is not simply wishful thinking but active engagement in our future.

Hope with Us celebrates Immanuel, God with us, in the Christmas story of Jesus and invites us to a deeper, more powerful experience of hope in our everyday, normal peacemaking lives.

The seven-week holiday teaching series begins November 12 and concludes at Christmas with Crossroads Candlelight Services, Dec 23 & 24.
