Jabez Community Center

Jabez Community Center is located in Gwosaab, Haiti, on the northern coast of North-West region (Nord-Oust). JCC is working to create an environment that empowers and fosters a brighter future for the next generation of Haitians.

This area of Haiti is currently facing drought, political turmoil, and poverty. JCC comes alongside the community to provide education for children through the Jabez School, summer camp and weekly Bible meetings. They also serve the young adults with teaching and training in social skills, biblical foundation, leadership and financial stewardship. It is JCC’s goal to provide the community of Gwosaab with a brighter future through the people of Gwosaab.

The director, Bernice Phanord, is a Haitian/American born in Haiti and currently lives between Haiti and America, splitting her time between running JCC in Haiti and working in America to support JCC when there are gaps in support.

Visit the Jabez Community Center website to learn more and give to the work being done. Support given will enable them to meet their goals and improve conditions.
