God is Not Lost

October 10, 2016, By: Jimmy Scruggs

He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10
Sometimes we lose our way and go astray; we wonder how we got to where we don’t want to be. Ever hear someone say “I don’t know where God is?” It’s like saying I lost God but of course God can’t get lost; he is everywhere. Hint: Somebody moved and it wasn’t God. Sometimes our hurts are so devastating to us that we just can’t seem to connect and we feel lost, alone, and forgotten. When you feel lost get out your spiritual GPS and get back on track by entering your destination–Bible, Prayer, Church, CR; God will give you the direction you need. If you want to know the key to victory, it starts with surrender. Jeremiah tells us: “You can’t heal a wound by saying it’s not there.” Don’t give up on Jesus, he never gives up on you; the truth is he has created you anew and your life will never be the same. If we persevere we will receive what he has promised, it’s better than anything we could ever imagine. “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” Hebrews 10:36 Love God, love people, Jesus first!
