CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a national organization that recruits, screens, and trains community volunteers to advocate in court for a child who has experienced abuse and  neglect. There are around 600 children in Larimer County who have experienced abuse and neglect and need an advocate. CASA currently serves about 50% of those children and it is their goal to provide an advocate for every child who needs one. CASA is partnering with Crossroads to spread awareness about the rates of child abuse in our community and recruit more volunteers to develop a positive relationship with advocate for these vulnerable children.
