Randy Swaim, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Colorado State University. In addition to teaching in the undergraduate and graduate programs, and doing research on adolescent substance use, he has worked as a mental health clinician for a County Mental Health Department in California, managed a private practice, and worked as a consulting psychologist for the Social Security Administration and Harmony Foundation, a drug and alcohol treatment facility in Estes Park, Colorado. He currently focuses on conducting research with American Indian youth who reside on reservations. Randy is a member and dedicated volunteer of Crossroads Church in northern Colorado.
