TEEN ADVENTURE CAMP OVERVIEW

LEAD.
Campers will gain leadership experience by serving during Crossroads Kids Adventure Camp during the morning time. Campers will work alongside adult volunteers in one of many areas at the Kids Camp. Serving options include helping out with recreation and games, co-leading a small group, guiding kids through crafts, leading songs and dances from the stage, preparing and serving snacks, and more. Campers will discover the joy in being on a team while serving others.

DISCOVER.
We want each Camper to learn what it means to be an everyday peacemaker. Through guided conversations and connection points with leaders, campers will have the opportunity to discover who God created them to be and live in the fullness of God’s love. With the guidance of caring adult leaders, guest speakers and community leaders, Teen Adventure Camp will be fun and encouraging—but it will also be challenging. We want campers to learn how they can become peacemakers and leaders in their everyday normal lives.

ADVENTURE.
Every afternoon, Campers will participate in various adventures, or what we like to call “Excursions.” Campers will have fun with their friends and caring adult leaders. Excursions will be both on-site and off-site, with activities such as hiking, tubing, beach time, outdoor movies, campfire nights and more. Together we will learn how to soak all of the goodness and fun out of life! Stay tuned for the full Excursion schedule coming soon.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT ARE THE COVID SAFETY MEASURES? (updated April 2021)

We are committed to creating a safe camp experience for all campers and volunteer leaders. These safety measures may change as we get closer to camp.

  • Groups will be pod-based. Your camper will be grouped with the same kids and leaders each day of camp.
  • Campers will be washing and sanitizing their hands often. We will have extra handwashing stations set up around the campus.
  • Campers and volunteers must wear face coverings while indoors.
  • Most of the camp activities are held outdoors. For indoor activities, including large group rallies, we have ample square footage in our building for physical distancing.

WHAT DOES THE COST OF CAMP INCLUDE?

Campers will receive 2 t-shirts (one for serving at Kids Camp and one for Teen Camp). Lunch is provided every day for all students and dinner is provided every day for high school students. Snacks and beverages are available throughout the day as well. Some of the excursions will be off site and the cost of camp includes equipment and transportation for those activities.

CAMPERS WITH SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Crossroads Teen Camp accommodates students of all abilities. You will indicate the need for any kind of modification on your student’s registration form, and a member of our team will contact you prior to camp to find out how we can best serve your family.
