House of Neighborly Service

The HNS vision is to stabilize and strengthen at-risk families, children, youth, seniors and disabled who are experiencing situational crises or the effects of poverty. The programs at HNS encourage self-sufficiency and self-reliance by helping to access and maximize the economic, physical, social, emotional and Spiritual resources available in our community. By providing a multitude of basic services in one location there is greater opportunity to access valuable resources. Community partnerships create a greater degree of support and establish accountability from those receiving assistance and to our faithful donors.

House of Neighborly Service (HNS) is a local Christian faith-based non-profit organization established in 1961 by the Loveland Council of Churches and in 1990 by the Berthoud Council of Churches, with the united vision to faithfully serve the people in our communities.

Crossroads partners with HNS by providing bread, volunteers, financial support and food.  Most of the food collected during our annual Stuff-The-Truck Food Drive (November) goes to HNS.
