Stuff the Truck – Food Drive
Crossroads loves filling the food pantry for the House of Neighborly Service. We have set a goal to collect 5000 pounds of food this year!!
1 in 3 children in Larimer County is food insecure and 49% of all families in Larimer County are currently working below the poverty line. Each day thousands of our neighbors must choose between spending their limited resources on food, or paying their rent or mortgage, utilities or medical care. Crossroads collects food throughout the year through the While You’re Out Daily Adventure. Every fall Crossroads collects tons of food which is donated to local agencies who are on the front lines of the food challenge. Volunteers collect, pack and deliver this food to the agencies during the month of November.
Fill a grocery bag (you can also pick up a bag in the atrium) with the most-needed items from the list below. Bring your donations between November 7-22. To donate during the week, leave your items in the atrium at the Stuff the Truck table. The atrium is open M-Thurs, 10 am – 3 pm.
If you would like to help pack the food during a weekend service or if you have questions, please email [email protected]
