“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more then all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

Sometimes, I underestimate God: “No way God, this is too big to overcome;” only to find out God’s way is so much bigger than I can comprehend. What I really need to do is say “yes” to God, just as I did when I felt so small in the beginning of my recovery. We realize as we work through our recovery that nothing is too big for God as we learn to take the focus off our sin addiction and focus on God first.

You keep saying “yes” to God and big things are going to happen; you will change, lives will change, families will change, your church and community will change. You will find yourself doing so much more than you ever thought possible. Jesus has that kind of impact on us; he will take you from the “if only” of regret to the miracles he has planned for you. Faith in action, with purpose and vision is a mighty thing to behold. Our recovery journey is about going deeper with God; don’t give up before the miracles happen—because they are going to happen.
