You are invited to the 4th annual Partners in Hope Gala, a fundraiser to benefit our local and global Partners in Hope.
Partners in Hope is Crossroads Church's framework for rewriting the Five Unacceptable Truths of our world through creation and development of initiatives and partnerships, both globally and locally. By 2032 we will fundraise and invest one million dollars annually into programs, trips and partner organizations that are rewriting the Five Unacceptable Truths locally and globally.
The adventure continues on June 7 with the 4th annual Partners in Hope Gala: Turning Hope Into Action. Learn about the Partners in Hope strategy, meet our different partners and program leaders and accelerate their vital work through our generosity. We will highlight areas of the world we plan to lead Crossroads Church into and commit ourselves to giving generously over the next year to accelerate peacemaking activities led by Crossroads and our partner organizations.
This year's Gala theme is Turning Hope Into Action. The Gala includes appetizers, buffet dinner, desserts, drinks, live auction, silent auction and an inspiring challenge from guest speaker Carlos Rodriguez from the organization The Happy Givers. Through his work in Puerto Rico, Carlos and The Happy Givers are rewriting the 5 Unacceptable Truths in their community. At the Gala, the attire is Colorado cocktail.
Childcare is available for children through 5th grade. Children 6th grade and older are invited to attend the Gala.
Meet Carlos
Carlos A. Rodríguez is the founder and director of The Happy Givers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity, disaster relief, and community development in Puerto Rico and beyond.
An author of three books—Simply Sonship, Drop the Stones, and the forthcoming Flip the Tables—Carlos combines his passion for social justice with a deep commitment to service.
He lives in Puerto Rico with his lovely wife, Catherine, and their three wonderful children.
