DARE TO SELL OUT
The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. 2 Chronicles 16:9 (NLT)
God knows we need to understand three things about the importance of daring faith.- God is looking for faithful people. God is actively searching for people who are fully committed to his ways, because these are the people God wants to bless and empower. The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. Wise people know that if you make yourself available for people to use, they will wear you out. If you make yourself available to God, God will bless you and empower you to live a supernatural life.
- Faithful people are hard to find. Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find? (Proverbs 20:6). A lot of people talk the talk. They say they believe in God, but when things get tough in their finances, or their health, or their job, instead of seeking God, they doubt God—or they blame God for their troubles. All the while, God looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God (Psalm 53:2).
- Faithfulness is the key to blessing and victory. The Proverbs teach: A faithful person will be richly blessed (Proverbs 28:20). If I want my life to be filled with blessings, I need to make and keep the important commitments.
