We need you! Help us make Week 1 of Kids Adventure Camp the best week of summer for all the campers that attend. Camp is made possible each year because of a large team of dedicated, stellar volunteers. Whether you’re a student, a parent, a grandparent, or you’re just passionate about investing in the next generation, we have a place for you to serve at Adventure Camp. SERVING DETAILS

Kids Adventure Camp needs volunteers for Week 1: The Quest Half Day Camp.

Dates: May 31 – June 3 (Tuesday-Friday)

Times of Camp: Week 1: The Quest Half Day Camp is 9am-12pm

Location: Crossroads Church, 5420 N. Taft Avenue, Loveland, CO 80538

Time Commitment
Whether you can serve for one day of camp or every day of camp, we would love to have you. You can indicate your availability on the registration form. Please see the serving opportunities below for more specific information regarding serving times. Attending a camp orientation is encouraged.

Orientation
We will equip you with everything you need to know in order to serve at camp. All volunteers are encouraged to attend an orientation session. The orientation session will follow the service on May 22 at 11:30am. If you are unavailable to attend at that time, a make-up orientation session will be scheduled.

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES AT THE QUEST
(May 31 – June 3)

Kids Adventure Camp Small Group Leader Team
Time Commitment | Week of Camp 8:30am-12:30pm
Small Group Leaders will be assigned to a group of campers and will lead them throughout the week of camp. They will greet parents at pick up and drop off, make sure groups are moving to the correct rotations on time and lead their campers in small group activities. Small Group leaders should like to work with kids, have positive and energetic attitudes, and be prepared to participate with kids during all rotations. This is a very relational team!

Worship Leader/Emcee
Time Commitment | 2 rehearsals before camp, Week of Camp 8:30am-12:30pm
The Worship Team will plan and execute fun and engaging rallies every day of camp. Rallies include skits, worship, games and teaching. This team is for people who like to sing, dance, act, host, and run tech. The Worship Team will meet twice before camp to rehearse, and possibly in the afternoon during the week of camp if needed.

Snack Team
Time Commitment | Week of Camp 9am-12pm, or as available
The Snack Team will work together to prepare all snacks to be delivered to campers. There will be one snack to prepare and deliver each day of camp.

Craft Team
Time Commitment | Week of Camp 9am-12pm, or as available
The Craft Team will work together to prepare all crafts throughout the week as campers arrive on rotation. This team will set up and prepare for rotations of campers and clean up after.

Outdoor Recreation Team
Time Commitment | Week of Camp 9am-12pm
The Outdoor Rec Team will lead groups of campers in games, messy crafts and the obstacle course outside. Small Group Leaders will assist the Rec Team with campers, but the Rec Team will be responsible for taking charge of groups rotating through and leading them in the outdoor activities.

Hospitality Team
Time Commitment | Week of Camp 8:30am-12:30pm, or as available
The Hospitality Team serves as the primary contact between camp staff and parents, creating a welcoming and safe environment during drop-off, pick-up, and throughout the week. The entire team will conduct registration and check-in on Monday morning; the rest of the week, team members will assist with daily drop-off and pick-up as well as be on hand as needed during the camp day.

First Aid/Security Team
Time Commitment | Week of Camp 8:30am-12:30pm, or as available
The First Aid and Security Team will be stationed in designated areas during camp to assist with all security and first aid needs of campers and volunteers.

Facilities Team
Time Commitment | Week of Camp 8am-12pm, OR 8am-9am & 12pm-1pm for set up and tear down
The Facilities Team will help with all material and facility related tasks including set up, tear down, and delivering supplies throughout the day. The Facilities Team will work with rotation station leaders to see that they have all materials needed.
