Don’t Give Up

April 24, 2017, By: Jimmy Scruggs

“Anyone who comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6
This Friday marks a special celebration for Celebrate Recovery at Crossroads Church. It’s a celebration of God’s power in the lives of thousands of people who have come through the doors of CR over the last 13 years. It’s a celebration of transformed lives for those who didn’t give up on God, who didn’t quit before the miracles happened. It is a celebration of coming home; we once were lost but now we are found. It is a celebration of surrendering what is not of God for what is. It is also a celebration of God’s mercy, love and grace. Many have tried to outdo God, run from him, convince themselves they are not worthy of his love or have lost faith that they once had. Through it all we can see that God never gave up on us, instead his love provides the grace we need to break free from the chains that have enslaved us. He will use our past hurts, hang-ups and habits to help others; declaring that what the enemy intended for evil purposes God uses for good. That’s what happens when we don’t give up on God. Don’t quit before the miracle happens. “For I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power.” Philippians 4:13 (TLB) Please join us this Friday night as CR and Crossroads Church celebrate 13 years of people helping people through this Christ-centered ministry. Love God, love people, Jesus first! Dana Cramer Celebrate Recovery at Crossroads
