Baptism is a time when individuals, their families and the whole Crossroads family celebrate the gift of new life in Christ.
If you have made a commitment to follow Christ as your savior and the leader of your life, then Baptism is an important next step for you. Baptism is for people ages 12 through adulthood.
Baptism at Crossroads
During all services
Here at Crossroads, we enjoy Baptisms as much as any event or celebration in our church. We feature baptisms as a regular part of our weekend services.
Do you have a faith story of life change? Would you be willing to share your story in a Crossroads service? If so, email us at [email protected].
At least twice a year, we hold baptisms at all the weekend services.
Would you like to be baptized? Attend a brief Baptism orientation after any weekend service, June 3-June 11. At the orientation, you will receive a Baptism registration packet. If you can’t attend a Baptism orientation, fill out the Baptism packet and return it as instructed in the packet.
Most people have questions about baptism like: Why should I be baptized? What if I was baptized as a baby? Does it matter if I am sprinkled or immersed? Registration materials and a brief introduction to baptism will be offered on select weekends prior to baptisms. Info sessions are held immediately following each service in the front, east section of the auditorium.
Students ages 12 and older (or entering grades 6-12), are also invited to learn more at the info sessions in the auditorium. A special take-home guide will be given to students or parents who attend.
